Way to Jailbreak iPhone 4 On iOS 5.1 With Redsnow Mac OS X ways

This tutorial will help you to jailbreak your iPhone 4 using Redsnow . First of all i tell you that it is tethered jailbreak so you have to connect your iPhone with Mac computer and re-run redsnow to boot your iPhone 4 into fully operational state every time your iphone loses power. I am also telling you that this jaolbreak will not work on iPhone 4S and that iBooks will not work correctly until iPhone Dev-Team implement a patch that will fix this.

To jailbreak follow these steps .

Step 1: To get started you will need to( download RedSn0w 0.9.1

0b6) on your Mac

Step 2: Once download process is completed start RedSn0w 0.9.10b6 launcher and click Jailbreak button located in middle of your window

Step 3: When the next window shows up, connect your iPhone 4 with your Mac using USB cable and power off your iPhone.

Step 4: When you are ready click Next button in existing window which will start DFU mode process

Step 5: When you click Next button simply follow instructions inside redsn0w window and continue clicking Next, after every step you perform on your iPhone (those steps you can find below)

• Hold down the Power (corner) button for 3 seconds
• Without releasing the Power button, also hold down the Home (bottom center) button for 10 seconds
• Without releasing the Home button, release the Power button BUT KEEP holding the Home button for 15 seconds

Step 6: After you have successfully entered in DFU mode with your iPhone 4, redsn0w will begin preparing your iPhone 4 for the Jailbreak

Step 7: Once redsn0w is finished preparing your iPhone 4 for Jailbreak a new window will show up where you need to specify options to go along with Jailbreak. You can specify any option you want but I suggest you to choose only Install Cydia and click Next

Step 8: Once you click next the Jailbreak process will begin, DO NOT interrupt this process and wait until it’s finished. When jailbreak process is finished iPhone will boot up and stuck at Apple logo. If this happens to you it’s because this is a tethered jailbreak and you will need to boot tethered with redsn0w in order to make your iPhone work.

Step 9: To boot your iPhone using redsn0w lunch redsn0w again and click Extras button and then choose Just bootbutton

Step 10: After that you will simply need to put your iPhone into DFU mode again.

Many iPhone owners expect that incoming call blocking is a built-in feature of the iPhone. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Such a feature is controlled at the provider level. Furthermore, most providers fail to offer call blocking to their customers. How to Root Your Samsung Galaxy S3 (And Flash Stock ROMs) Using Odin for Windows

Need root on your Samsung Galaxy S3? Phone not getting the Jelly Bean update? Stuck on the Samsung screen? Phone bricked? Need to restore back to stock? Odin can help!
What is Odin?
Odin is a Windows-only program, designed by Samsung themselves, used to root, flash, upgrade, and restore Samsung phones using special firmware files specific to your model.

What You Will Need

• The latest Samsung USB drivers. These are universal.
• The latest version of Odin (3.07).

To Flash Firmware

• The latest firmware file for your model phone. Via the link, select your device from the pull-down menu on the left to download the file. If you don't know your model number, you can find it via Settings -> About Phone on your device.

To Obtain Root

• The appropriate device-compatible CF-Auto-Root file.
• The app ROM Manager (free version).

Step 1: Install Samsung USB Drivers

Start by downloading and installing the USB drivers onto your Windows computer. You'll need them to properly connect your Galaxy S3 to your computer with Odin. You may be prompted to reboot your computer after they're installed.

Step 2: Extract Odin

Using the provided link, download and unzip Odin onto your desktop. The software does not need to be installed, just extracted.

Step 3: Set Phone to Download Mode

5. Select "Recovery Setup" and install either ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM) or Team Win's Touch Recovery (TWRP).

Those with files to hoard will be happy to know the S3 comes with two years of online storage app DropBox, giving you an impressive 50GB worth of virtual disk space on which to plonk your files.
The S3 comes pre-loaded with lots of Samsung apps -- and several of these, including S Suggest and the Games Hub -- give you additional ways to get content onto the phone, as well as being able to download apps from Google's Play Store.

The S3 includes Samsung's Games Hub -- a one-stop-shop for getting games on the phone, and a Video Hub for renting or buying films.

The previously Apple-exclusive Flipboard app also makes an appearance on the S3's home screen as an attractive widget. The Flipboard app turns links and updates from your social networks into an attractive magazine-style layout. The app and widget really come into their own on the S3's gloriously large display.
There are other new goodies on board, including a neat 'Pop up Play' feature that lets you watch videos while performing boring functions like sending a text, and a transfer tool called S Beam, which lets you send large files over a Wi-Fi connection.

Ice Cream Sandwich and TouchWiz

The Galaxy S3 is running on Android, Google's mobile operating system. Specifically, it's powered by Android 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). Until very recently ICS was the latest version of Android but that honour now goes to 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The S3's home screens will be familiar to most Android users -- with a launcher bar of apps and space above to fill with widgets and more apps.

Samsung has not yet confirmed whether the S3 will get an update to Jelly Bean. If you're desperate to get your hands on the latest Google OS, you might be better off opting for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is due to get Jelly Bean later this month.
Despite Samsung's reticence to confirm a Jelly Bean update for the S3, it seems pretty likely it will get one. Do be prepared for a bit of a wait though -- the S2 ICS update was a long time coming.
Android is a powerful, flexible operating system that affords users loads of scope to customise and tinker with their phone. But the wealth of options and tools available can be overwhelming to newcomers, which makes having a really slick interface especially important.
Atop ICS, Samsung has plastered its own software, called TouchWiz. It's the same colourful interface you'll see on kit like the Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note.
TouchWiz on the S3 looks polished, with lots of carefully drawn icons and easy-to-read fonts. But when it comes to ease of use, it's not always as well thought through as rival mobile maker HTC's Sense 4.0 Android overlay. At times, as you poke and prode TouchWiz, the intuitive action does not yield the hoped-for result.

On the left are the Recent Apps thumbnails that ICS serves up; on the right is the S3's notifications tray, fit to burst.

For example, adding widgets to the home screens is not done by long-pressing the place where you want to add the widget. Rather, you have to dive into the apps view, switch to the widgets tab and long press on a widget -- then move it onto the home screen position of your choice.
It's an inelegant way of doing things and, while it's only a minor quibble, it is indicative of TouchWiz's tendency to be a tad gnomic.
Another example is TouchWiz's notifications interface. Even if you turn on SMS notifications in the settings, if the notifications icon is toggled off in the notifications tray, you won't hear any sounds until it's toggled on. That's fine once you know about the existence of this icon. But if you haven't found it yet, you'll be really confused about why you can't hear any SMSes coming in.
S2 owners won't have any trouble navigating the S3's interface since they're retreading familiar ground. But newbies will certainly need to get accustomed to Samsung's way of doing things.
